- Because the patients are asleep, surgeons can be more aggressive and work faster, minimising the duration of the general anaesthesia but at the same time increasing the collateral damage to the surrounding tissues and increasing the amount of blood loss. Medical studies have shown that there can be 7 times more blood loss with traditional liposuction when compared to 3rd generation ultrasound-assisted-liposuction (eg VASER Liposelection). Our very own Dr Ravi Jain shared his skills and experience with Dr Mekle and his team at the Mek Medical Centre in Katowice, Poland last weekend!
As part of his work as a VASER liposelection trainer, Dr Jain flew over and spent 2 days teaching the team the principles of VASER. Having used Smartlipo MPX and traditional liposuction methods in the past, Dr Mekle was thrilled with the results of the VASER training, and eager to put them into practice.

A new survey has revealed that 90% of women fail to protect their body from the effects of sun damage despite taking precautions for their face, increasing the risk of developing an embarrassing face/body mis-match as they get older.
