As part of the growth of our clinic, we often check out what other clinics are doing – it’s a standard practice for many businesses and Riverbanks is no different.
One of the shocking things we’ve noticed recently is the rise in clinics who are using standard pictures of Vaser procedures and claiming them as their own. While this may not seem so shocking to some, here at Riverbanks we’re completely amazed that any reputable clinic would do this.
Wouldn’t you want to know that the before and after vaser lipo pictures you’re seeing are 1) actually real examples and 2) performed by the practitioner you’re going to be working with?
In at least one case we’ve seen recently, a clinic had put their own copyright on pictures that were the work of the inventor of Vaser HiDef, Dr Alfredo Hoyes in Colombia! That’s not just unethical, it’s ILLEGAL!
At Riverbanks clinic, all of our before and after photos of Vaser Lipo are our very own, real patients who have given their permission for us to use their pictures. We’ll never mislead you by using doctored pictures of photographs of models – all the results you see here are 100% real.

When you’re considering a non invasive cosmetic procedure such as Vaser Lipo, you often have questions about recovery time. This is one of the most often asked questions in our initial consultations!
In our experience, patients recover much faster when they have VASER LipoSelection, compared with patients that have experienced traditional liposuction. Unlike conventional liposuction, VASER patients are able to get light exercise within a few days and are fully back to normal within two weeks. Of course, they should keep their compression garments on for the full six weeks.
Because VASER is only minimally invasive, and tackles only your body fat, it reduces the trauma to the body, so pain is reduced. This means you will not need to take strong painkillers or numbing medications. In fact, to date, not one of our patients has required prescription pain relief!
But don’t take our word for it – see what our patients have to say!

We’re often asked this question when patients come for their initial consultation, and it’s a valid question!
It’s not a matter of ‘better’ per se; they are very different methods of removing fat from the body. Smart Lipo has some advantages over traditional liposuction, but none over VASER. Vaser works differently in the way that it removes the fat and has more advantages than convention lipo and Smart laser solutions.
Simply put, Smart Lipo uses a laser to break up the fat, whereas VASER Lipo uses ultrasound technology. VASER Lipo has demonstrated excellent recovery times, because it does not damage blood vessels, nerves or connective tissues when it is melting the fat. Also, VASER is much more specific for fat than any other modality. With VASER the surgeon can treat small or large areas whereas Smartlipo is more limited to smaller areas.
VASER Lipo is performed under local anaesthesia and greatly reduce risk and recovery times, compared with traditional liposuction.

We’re always happy when our patients take the time to send us a testimonial after a treatment, and we love sharing them with you.
A recent Vaser Lipo testimonial REALLY put a smile on our faces though, as the sender had actually made a point of sending it when she was on HOLIDAY!
“We are in Spain at the moment (1 week after the Vaser Lipo) with friends. As soon as we met, I was asked if I had lost weight! This morning, both my husband and I were laughing as I seem to be getting trimmer every day – people will wonder what is going on! Healing is going really well and I am so glad I had the procedure.”

If you’d like to find out how YOU could be looking trimmer in less than a week, why not get in touch?

Summer is coming and the magazines are full of the latest diets – whether it be Atkins or Rosemary Conley, Slimming World or Weightwatchers, the mags know that they’ll sell loads by promising instant results.
The problem is that you’re never going to get instant results with dieting, and sometimes even when you’ve lost the weight you want to, your stomach isn’t as flat as you’d like.
Well we can not only promise you instant results with Vaser Lipo to your tummy / abdomen, but we’ve produced a video to show you!
This short clip demonstrates how Vaser instantly reduces thickness of the abdomen with pinch tests immediately before and after the procedure. Vaser Lipo is performed by Dr Ravi Jain at the multi-award winning Riverbanks Clinic.

Call them what you like – male breasts, man boobs, moobs, whatever – the simple fact is that they’re embarrassing and most men who have them would like to get rid of them.
At Riverbanks Clinic we’ve been treating male patients for gynecomastia (that’s the technical term!) since we opened, with fantastic success rates.
As one of our recent patients says:
“I selected Vaser Lipo as I had read that it was less painful than other methods and the recovery was much sooner. I researched a few different clinics carrying out this procedure but felt Riverbanks offered much more in terms of a personal service rather than just another patient through the door. When meeting Ravi I felt my selection was justified and have been happy with the results ever since. Even after the procedure Ravi has kept in touch to review my progress which confirmed my initial thoughts of a much more personal service. In addition to that his staff make you feel very welcome and at ease from start to finish. Thanks again.”Eamonn, Dublin Read more...(230 words, estimated 55 secs reading time)

Just thought I’d share my experience with all as am thrilled with results!
Thanks to Dr. Ravi Jain and Riverbanks Clinic.
For many years I had suffered in silence and became increasingly more conscious about my man-boobs, particularly as the left one was larger than the right one. I am 38 years old and although, not overweight, I tried dieting and started working out at the gym. After several months, the muscles in my pecs were getting larger, but this only emphasised the size of my moobs as the localised fat there wouldnt shift or reduce, no matter how much I worked out or dieted.
After much research I realised how common this problem actually is and in hindsight the size of my moobs in comparison to some stories and pictures Ive seen were maybe not excessive to other cases Id studied, but to myself they were large enough to cause me personal embarrassment and distress for years. T-shirts, polo shirts and fitted shirts always hung badly on me and made me feel booby and any tops with pocket details were definitely ruled out as this only emphasised my shape. Every time I walked past a shop front window or a mirror I would have to look at my profile or catch my reflection in the window and it was becoming an obsession – an obsession I had to break! Manboobs can be embarrassing and difficult to live with. The good thing is – you can do something about it.
The reason you have manboobs will determine the action or treatment you need to take. You do not have to live with manboobs forever and you can be free of them very quickly and getting your shape and confidence back before you know it.
If you are a young man in your teenage years and you have found that you have developed a chest the first thing to do is not panic. This actually happens to most young men as they grow up and you will find that over time they will disappear. If you are really concerned then do speak to a parent or physician for support.
Some forms of manboob are the result of the excessive growth of mammary glands usually due to hormonal changes. – Gynecomastia. It is not fully understood why this occurs or what the triggers are for it. If you have been taking medication it is advisable to speak to your GP to clarify if it contains any ingredients which could promote breast tissue growth and seek their advice on where to go from here.
