As an ex beauty therapist who did study facial anatomy and as a pharma rep who also promoted aesthetic products to the cosmetic industry I would like to comment. A light touch and an artistic eye is the most important thing in giving successful cosmetic treatments. Provided the safety and hygeine issues are all in place the skill of the practitioner is not necessarily relevant to their qualification. I have witnessed heavy handed Doctors and Nurses make some real errors which is one of the reasons I stopped working in the cosmetic industry. Being a qualified Doctor or Nurse does not automatically make one a good aesthetician. Rather like any profession it is not the job title that automatically commands success! Present company excepted of course as having worked with Dr Jain I would and have personally recommend him as a highly skilled cosmetic Doctor, I certainly couldn’t say that of all the Doctors I worked with.

U should choose a surgeon and not a country! Every country has good and bad surgeons, even the UK! There are plenty of excellent, even world leading surgeons in the UK. But if the best surgeon in the world practices abroad, for the procedure you wish, then you may consider travelling to see them. However, you must follow his usual pre-op and post-op practice in order to get the best results. Cutting corners usually results in complications.

Hi,
I have had surgery here 3 yrs ago and am looking into getting some more. I am thinking of going abroad to save some money and has a little holiday aswell. Are there any countries which come highly reconmended for surgery? and are there others to avoid?
