Vaser 4D Sculpt Patient Testimonials

Posted by RaviJain Posted Date: Monday, 28 November 2011 11:37 AM

We are always thrilled when our patients take the time to tell others about their Riverbanks Experience. We found this latest testimonial on the sofeminine.co.uk website by a Vaser patient who had the very latest version of Hi Def….. Vaser 4D Sculpt. Her results are already pretty good despite being so early after her operation.

“Hello from fatsuit ville

Yes I had lipo vaser hi def on 10th NovThese guys are the best I would not go anywhere else. If you are thinking of high def it gives the best results but you need to stay local to luton to get your aftercare massages. Remember no pain no gain but the results are beyond any pictures I have personally seen on the internet. I am still in the fatsuit and there is still a long way to go. I had well basically everywhere from knees to waist and also fat in my bum.

Tip
For god sakes take your painkillers before your aftercare massages

Post op aftercare includes ultrasound therapy, manual lymphatic drainage and pressuretherapy as devised by Dr Alfredo Hoyos. The Riverbanks post-op team went to Bogota in November 2011 to advance their already excellent skills for the benefit of our post op vaser patients.

Watch below highlights of an aftercare session in Bogota.

Vaser Lipo vs Body-Jet – what’s better?

Posted by RaviJain Posted Date: Sunday, 20 November 2011 12:00 PM

Dr Robert Troell from California recently published his study comparing the different types of liposuction he has performed in his practice with interesting results. This study carries significant credibility because Dr Troell has been a national trainer in both Vaser and Body-Jet techniques in the USA and so offers an unbiased view.

In this 150 patient study, Dr Troell compared traditional liposuction (Suction-assisted-liposuction) to Ultrasound-assisted-liposuction (VASER) to Water-assisted-lipouction (Bodyjet). He produced  this study to help both physicians and patients in choosing the right treatment.

Here is a summary of the results:

  • VASER resulted in greatest amount of fat removal and highest patient satisfaction
  • Bodyjet required about twice as much fluid as two other techniques
  • VASER and Bodyjet use less traumatic methods to remove fat than simple suction power

This study confirms what we at Riverbanks have always known:

VASER LIPOSELECTION OFFERS THE HIGHEST PATIENT SATISFACTION

Frequently Asked Questions About VASER 4D Sculpt

Posted by RaviJain Posted Date: Sunday, 20 November 2011 08:56 AM

Who can have VASER 4D Sculpt?

The VASER 4D Sculpt procedure is meant for people who are already in good physical shape but have trouble achieving a defined, athletic physique. Both men and women can be treated. VASER 4D Sculpt is not meant for people who are very overweight or obese. The procedure depends heavily on skin retraction to help define the anatomical results. For people who are overly heavy, the skin has stretched beyond where VASER could help it retract. Please ask Dr Jain what other cosmetic options you have if this describes you.

Where can I have VASER 4D Sculpt done?

Honestly, just about anywhere. Men generally have their upper arms, and front & back of torso treated to give the most natural looking results. Women tend to have the same as well as their thighs and buttocks.

How does VASER work?

Whats the difference between Vaser Hi Def & Vaser 4D ?

Posted by RaviJain Posted Date: Friday, 18 November 2011 21:08 PM

There is no denying that the VASER Hi-Def technique was one of the most influential body contouring procedures in the last decade. However, even earthshakers have their flaws. And as Dr. Hoyos worked more and more with Hi-Def, he realized the multiple flaws the procedure presented.

That is why he went back to the drawing board, re-imagined his creation, and has now released 4D Sculpt™.

The differences between 4D Sculpt™ and Hi-Def may be subtle, but when applied in the operating room, the nuances are distinctly profound. 4D Sculpt™ means the difference between clunky sculpture and natural human beauty.

Here is an in-depth explanation of the differences between VASER Hi-Def and Dr. Hoyos’ highly improved 4D Sculpt™.

1. VASER Hi-Def Ignores the Body in Motion.

Coined by Dr. Hoyos as the “Pinocchio problem,” VASER Hi-Def results often do not show the muscles in motion. It does not incorporate the natural progression of the body in motion.

Dietary recommendations after your VASER surgery

Dietary Recommendations following your Vaser surgery

Vaser liposelection will have removed a significant amount of your fat cells from your body especially from those stubborn areas. However, it is important to realise that you do need to look after your new body in order to maximise the results of your surgery.

Many of our patients have commented that they have found it easier to lose weight following VASER than before. As a result their motivation to diet and exercise is maintained for longer and so they achieve better results.

Some people are very resistant to weight loss if they eat starchy food such as breads, rices, pastas, potatoes, milk, chocolates & sweets.

Following my own surgery I adopted a low GI diet together with some other lifestyle changes which led to dramatic weight loss and also improved physique.

For the next 3 weeks, try to avoid the following ingredients for 6 days of every week:

FAQ’s: Gynecomastia treatment with VASER

Posted by RaviJain Posted Date: Monday, 14 November 2011 23:16 PM

Male Breast Reduction with Vaser Liposelection

Gynaecomastia is a medical term which describes oversized breasts in men. It is an extremely common condition, with some studies reporting it to be present in up to 60% of men. It is thought that the incidence is increasing due to changes in environmental conditions in our diet over the last few decades.

There are two forms of gynaecomastia.

True gynaecomastia

This is when a breast gland has developed in response to a hormonal sensitivity, usually around puberty. It is often associated with extra fatty tissue in the breast which further increases the size of the breast. True gynecomastia may be diagnosed clinically during your examination with your surgeon or via an ultrasound scan. It needs to be treated surgically with excision of the gland. Liposuction or VASER may be used in addition, to remove any excess fat. A half circle incision is necessary around the outline of your nipple and the gland is removed through this. The procedure can be carried out ‘twilight’ or general anaesthesia, depending on the extent of the planned surgery. It can usually be performed as a day case, with no overnight stay required.

Not All Calories Are Created Equal

Posted by RaviJain Posted Date: Tuesday, 13 September 2011 10:27 AM

A big new study showed that over 4 years, increased amounts of different foods led to different outcomes on the scale.

For example:

Nuts vs Chips

Nuts take longer to chew. They contain fat and fibre that needs more time to digest. As a result your stomach stays fuller and you feel satisfied for longer meaning you eat less at your next meal. YOU LOSE 0.26KG

Chips are made of cooked starch and is quickly broken down which causes a spike in sugar blood levels. This causes the body to release insulin which creates hunger signals and so you eat more at your next meal. YOU GAIN 1.52KG

Vaser Shape – liposuction without surgery in the UK

Posted by RaviJain Posted Date: Thursday, 21 July 2011 10:22 AM

Its true! Its now possible to get results close to liposuction without having to go through the trials of surgery! New Vaser Shape from the makers of Vaser Liposelection offers patients a true alternative to liposuction, in a painless, relaxing 1 hour long treatment at Riverbanks Clinic, just outside of Harpenden.

What is VASER® Shape? How does it differ from other non-invasive treatments?

VASER Shape is a non-invasive ultrasound and massage therapy treatment that smoothes, firms and shapes the body. VASER Shape temporarily reduces the appearance of cellulite, and increases local blood circulation and lymphatic drainage. The treatment uses ultrasound waves to warm the targeted problem area and treat the underlying fatty tissue. It then uses zonal lymphatic massage to drain away excess toxins and lipids for removal from the body. Unlike other non-invasive body shaping procedures, VASER Shape is a comfortable massage-like treatment that only requires three to five sessions for noticeable results.

What does non-invasive mean?
