As part of the growth of our clinic, we often check out what other clinics are doing – it’s a standard practice for many businesses and Riverbanks is no different.
One of the shocking things we’ve noticed recently is the rise in clinics who are using standard pictures of Vaser procedures and claiming them as their own. While this may not seem so shocking to some, here at Riverbanks we’re completely amazed that any reputable clinic would do this.
Wouldn’t you want to know that the before and after vaser lipo pictures you’re seeing are 1) actually real examples and 2) performed by the practitioner you’re going to be working with?
In at least one case we’ve seen recently, a clinic had put their own copyright on pictures that were the work of the inventor of Vaser HiDef, Dr Alfredo Hoyes in Colombia! That’s not just unethical, it’s ILLEGAL!
At Riverbanks clinic, all of our before and after photos of Vaser Lipo are our very own, real patients who have given their permission for us to use their pictures. We’ll never mislead you by using doctored pictures of photographs of models – all the results you see here are 100% real.

Our very own Dr Ravi Jain shared his skills and experience with Dr Mekle and his team at the Mek Medical Centre in Katowice, Poland last weekend!
As part of his work as a VASER liposelection trainer, Dr Jain flew over and spent 2 days teaching the team the principles of VASER. Having used Smartlipo MPX and traditional liposuction methods in the past, Dr Mekle was thrilled with the results of the VASER training, and eager to put them into practice.
Dr Mekle said:
It was great to have had you here. The VASER was good too but you made the training feel like a meeting of old friends. Your expert & professional approach to aesthetic surgery made us feel that the VASER is the only solution for lipolysis. It was also personally comforting to be able …to relate to someone who also understands the relentless hours spent to fulfill a dream….
By the end of the training Dr Mekle had developed excellent VASER skills and it was concluded the training was a complete success!

Call them what you like – male breasts, man boobs, moobs, whatever – the simple fact is that they’re embarrassing and most men who have them would like to get rid of them.
At Riverbanks Clinic we’ve been treating male patients for gynecomastia (that’s the technical term!) since we opened, with fantastic success rates.

Just thought I’d share my experience with all as am thrilled with results!
Thanks to Dr. Ravi Jain and Riverbanks Clinic.
For many years I had suffered in silence and became increasingly more conscious about my man-boobs, particularly as the left one was larger than the right one. I am 38 years old and although, not overweight, I tried dieting and started working out at the gym. After several months, the muscles in my pecs were getting larger, but this only emphasised the size of my moobs as the localised fat there wouldnt shift or reduce, no matter how much I worked out or dieted.
After much research I realised how common this problem actually is and in hindsight the size of my moobs in comparison to some stories and pictures Ive seen were maybe not excessive to other cases Id studied, but to myself they were large enough to cause me personal embarrassment and distress for years. T-shirts, polo shirts and fitted shirts always hung badly on me and made me feel booby and any tops with pocket details were definitely ruled out as this only emphasised my shape. Every time I walked past a shop front window or a mirror I would have to look at my profile or catch my reflection in the window and it was becoming an obsession – an obsession I had to break! Last week I was privileged to be invited to attend a global experts meeting in Miami for a leading dermal filler company. Being the only UK doctor, I was quite apprehensive as the delegate list included doctors whose work I have admired and whose research has paved the way forward for the aesthetic speciality. The meeting was extremely educational on numerous levels and I felt I was able to contribute effectively on several topics.
However I was awestruck by the amount of research each of the American doctors had carried out to help advance our knowledge. The US Food & Drugs Administration (FDA) comes under a lot of criticism there, like the Care Quality Commission has done here in the UK, but what the FDA does create, is a culture to provide good evidence based medicine, more akin to NICE (National Institute of Clinical Excellence) here in the UK.
