As part of the growth of our clinic, we often check out what other clinics are doing – it’s a standard practice for many businesses and Riverbanks is no different.

One of the shocking things we’ve noticed recently is the rise in clinics who are using standard pictures of Vaser procedures and claiming them as their own. While this may not seem so shocking to some, here at Riverbanks we’re completely amazed that any reputable clinic would do this.

Introduction to Tumescent Anaesthesia & VASER Liposelection

This training programme for qualified physicians who are new to liposuction and tumescent anaesthesia, and wish to start performing the procedures. The course is divided into 2 parts consisting of theory and practical hands on tuition.

The theory section includes:

• A full syllabus outline
• A training DVD with 7 hours CME accreditation
• Unique password protected access to online training materials
• Online assessment

The practical session will only take place once the theory part has been completed and the online test has been passed. This takes place over a full day and during the morning you will observe Dr Jain carrying out the procedure on a patient. During the afternoon you will carry out the procedure on one of your own patients under Dr Jain’s supervision.

During the practical session you will get full hands-on experience of the Vaser technology and also have the opportunity to fully understand the aftercare requirements and management of complications. It is a good idea to bring your scrub nurse with you to the practical session so she learns how to set up and assist you in your own theatre.
